Thirty One Physical Therapy is growing and looking to add a physical therapist with experience in pelvic health and orthopedics. Thirty One is a boutique, private pay, physical therapy clinic offering one-on-one treatment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a motivated, patient-centric practice and join a growing practice.
Thirty One is focused on providing patients with superior care, meaning all appointments are one hour and one-on-one between the physical therapist and patient. Thirty One does not employ any physical therapy assistants nor exercise technicians to administer treatment. As a therapist in a private pay clinic, the new hire will spend most of their time on patient care and not be required to navigate the requirements of insurance companies.
Based on education and experience, the new physical therapist can expect to see a mixed caseload of pelvic floor dysfunction and orthopedic issues.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with various orthopedic and pelvic floor dysfunctions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and be able to progress and modify plan of care as needed
- Document as necessary, including proper coding
- Conduct outreach to potential referral sources and maintain relationships with current referral network
- Participate in marketing presentations and educational events to community members
- Assist with brainstorming and creating social media posts
Qualifications:
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current IL license to practice physical therapy
- Valid CPR certification
- 2+ years of experience with focus on orthopedics and pelvic health
- Trained in evaluating and treating pelvic floor dysfunction
- Previous coursework through APTA or Herman & Wallace Institute is preferred, but not required
- Consideration will be given to candidates willing to attend pelvic health continuing education courses, if not yet competed
- Strong manual therapy skills to assess and treat soft/connective tissues and joints o Previous coursework through the Institute of Physical Arts is preferred, but not required
- Outgoing, positive, and motivated demeanor
