Job Title: Home Health Aide
Duties:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities to clients in their homes
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Help clients with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals in assisted living or memory care settings
- Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and protocols
- Proficient in medication administration techniques
- Familiarity with hospice care principles and practices
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Excellent caregiving skills, including empathy and patience
- Understanding of dementia care strategies and techniques
