Carpenter duties and responsibilities
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
- Ability to work as a team to accomplish various tasks.
- Ability to solve problems and come up with creative solutions
- Be able to use all types of power tools and hand tools
- Be able to install products per instructions
- Knowledge of carpentry math is preferred.
- Ability to learn from and to teach teammates is required.
- Supervise, train and give feedback to teammates when necessary
- Work with sub-contractors to achieve various tasks as necessary
- Help maintain a safe jobsite and raise issues with foreman or g.m. when necessary.
- Be mindful of the job schedule.
- Think ahead to keep the job moving forward.
- Carpentry includes: framing, insulation, sheetrock, cabinetry, finish carpentry, siding, windows and doors, and much more!
Must have at least 5 years of carpentry experience.
Pay is open to negotiation.
