Duties:
Create and maintain the automated test framework and utilities to generate automated tests. Develop tests, utilities and architect performant, as well as modular and re-useable solutions. Develop new microservices using Spring Boot, Java 8, as part of the migration process and use Spring reactive for nonblocking. Manage all microservices with Apigee. Diagnose and absorb new projects, evaluate the design and understand the end to end flow to develop a comprehensive automation approach. Work within Agile team throughout the Lifecycle to collaborate on the analysis, design, development and testing. Actively participate in Sprint planning sessions to create stories with robust acceptance criteria while helping identify missing or incomplete requirements. Actively participate in design and technical reviews to identify missing, incomplete or inaccurate design assumptions or design choices. Create Java automation framework to build automated tests and utilities. Build and maintain integration testing framework in Jenkins to execute automated tests for regression, integration, and functional testing on newly designed or modified applications and systems. Develop Microservices to be deployed in Kubernetes. Develop test cases using Junit, Mockito and Web-Test client. Independently follow up with development resources for solution identification. Perform thorough code reviews and recommend improvements. Evaluate solution to design, script and execute performance tests. Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, computer engineering or related and five (5) years of experience as a software developer, systems analyst or related.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Develop Microservices to be deployed in Kubernetes; 2) Develop test cases using Junit, Mockito and Web-Test client; 3) Develop new microservices using Spring Boot, Java 8, as part of the migration process and use Spring reactive for nonblocking; 4) Manage all microservices with Apigee.
Salary:
$139,464 - $141,400
