Headquartered in Rockford, Tennessee, Remote Area Medical – RAM® is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by providing free quality healthcare to those in need. RAM accomplishes its mission by operating mobile clinics, which offer a combination of dental, vision, and medical services to underserved and uninsured individuals.
As a key member of our Operations Team, you would operate at the nexus of technology and business efficiency, reporting directly to our Information Technology Manager. Your role would focus on elevating our operational capabilities through strategic integration of software systems, spearheading system upgrades, installations, and empowering users through targeted training. Beyond technical prowess, you would meticulously document needs, design solutions and reporting, train users on systems, and refine processes across all business units to ensure a seamless fusion of technology and process optimization. In doing so, you would ensure our operations run smoothly and that our technology solutions are leveraged to their fullest potential, making a significant impact on the organization's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: Development, Finance, Operations) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with operational, managerial, and executive teams
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of regular status reports to all appropriate parties
- Participate in the integration of various software systems, including CRM, ERP, and other operational tools, to ensure seamless data exchange and process automation.
- Work closely with departmental teams to define system integration requirements, including data mapping, workflows, and user interfaces.
- Manage projects related to system integration, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Create dashboards and reports for all departments and all levels of management.
- Provide training and support to staff on new systems and processes, ensuring high adoption and effective use.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in system integration and nonprofit operations, recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and impact.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to achieve system integration goals.
- Document integration processes, systems architecture, and user guidelines.
- Participate in design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business process analysis or system integration.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of software integration principles, APIs, and data exchange formats.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
- Ability to train and support staff in new systems and processes.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive RAM vehicles
- Must be proficient in verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills
