Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals in meriden , portland and middletown to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need within their homes or residential facilities.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication under the direction of a nurse or healthcare professional
- Help with household chores and meal preparation
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
- Follow care plans and ensure the client's needs are met
Qualifications:
- Experience in home care, nursing homes, or similar settings
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to provide specialized care such as dementia care, memory care, hospice care
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Understanding of systems for documenting patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in Home Health Aide training program
