Pre-Roll Machine Operator
The Pre-Roll Machine Operator reports directly to the Director of Processing and is responsible for all daily tasks of the Pre-Roll Machine in their assigned areas within the Processing Department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily operation of the Pre-Roll Machine.
- External Vendor Communications.
- Troubleshooting Machine, as needed.
- Maintain inventory of consumables and replacement parts.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure accurate weighing and packaging of cannabis flower, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and Company procedures and policies.
- Ensure and maintain the highest quality level of cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
- Responsible for quality control of packaging equipment and packaging products
- Must be able to keep track of inventories of different strains and bulk cannabis ready for packaging.
- Must be able to follow directions to help achieve productivity goals.
- Observing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements while completing tasks.
- Effectively trim cannabis flower at a productive pace.
- Maintaining accurate tracking logs.
- Sorting and maintaining harvest batch differentiation by both strain and phenotype.
- Handling, transporting, and disposing of waste materials and accurately documenting all cannabis waste.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Machine Operation Experience.
- Production & Manufacturing Experience.
- Mechanical Experience.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Troubleshooting Skills.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to successfully pass a CORI background check and be willing to submit personal information to become a licensed registered state agent.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must comply with all applicable legal or Company regulations for working in a cannabis manufacturing facility.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic organizational and math skills.
- Ability to work well with a team or independently.
- Detail orientated.
- Willingness to learn.
- Promote and maintain both patience and a positive attitude when encountering technical issues.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Ability to work 8 hours a day with rotating weekend shifts.
- Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout your workday.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout your workday.
- Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 feet extension) and general hardware tools for common repairs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
