Our dental office is located in the city of Oxnard and we are looking for an experienced Dental Biller and Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our dental family. Applicants must have experience in the dental field to apply for this position.
We are looking for someone who has dental office experience, knows dental terminology, has great communication skills, and speaks Spanish.
Duties:
- Send out insurance claims and pre-authorizations and treatment planning for patients.
- Review and analyze dental records, treatment plans, and diagnostic information
- Assign appropriate codes to dental procedures using each insurance fee schedules
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of dental claims to insurance companies
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for dental procedures
- Collaborate with dental providers to resolve coding and billing issues
- Stay up-to-date with changes in coding guidelines and regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or similar) strongly preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and coding systems
- Experience with dental insurance billing and claims processing
- Proficient in using dental practice management software and electronic health records systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Note: This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, coding systems, and insurance billing. The Dental Biller plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate reimbursement for dental services provided.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
