Job Title: Resident Support Professional
Classification: Full-Time & Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Various Locations (Santa Barbara and Goleta)
Reports To: Director of Residential Services
ROLE SUMMARY
As a Resident Support Professional at the Mental Wellness Center, you will play a vital role in promoting the well-being and satisfaction of our clients by providing direct personal care and supervision. You will provide support at our board and care homes, independent living, and Housing First facilities, serving individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness. Your work will involve assisting clients with activities of daily living, medication oversight, and ensuring compliance with facility protocols and licensing regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Provide Care and Supervision: Offer compassionate care and supervision to residents in our adult residential facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
· Activities of Daily Living: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including medication oversight, following facility protocols, licensing regulations, and guidelines.
· Individual Service Plans: Follow individual service plans for each client, tailoring care to their specific needs and preferences.
· Team Collaboration: Function as a cohesive team member, helping colleagues as needed to provide the best possible care to clients.
· Monitoring: Continuously monitor client activity, food intake, functional status, and psychosocial status. Take appropriate actions to promote client well-being.
· Status Reporting: Report any changes in client status immediately to your supervisor to ensure prompt attention and support.
· Documentation: Accurately document client status changes, including physical changes, medication reactions, psychosocial status changes, and behavioral changes.
· Rehabilitation Services: Document the rehabilitation services provided to clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Basic First Aid & CPR Certification: Possess current or attain Basic First Aid and CPR certification post- hire through MWC.
· Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and management.
· Service Plan Execution: Capability to read, understand, and implement client service plans, documenting activities accurately.
· Proficiency in Google sheets.
· MWC requires proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 and highly encourages staying up to date.
· Flexibility to work 16-hour shifts, including day shifts, overnights, and weekends.
SALARY
The salary hourly base pay range for this role is between $22 to $25.
