The Maintenance Technician will work directly with the Maintenance Director to maintain the overall condition of the Madison community.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work with the Maintenance Director to ensure physical condition of community is maintained according to company operating and safety standards.
- Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues that may arise including but not limited to the exterior, HVAC, appliances, plumbing, pool or electrical issues.
- Work with service team to ensure excellent curb appeal at all times.
- Communicate with residents and maintain a timely completion of work orders.
- Follow policies relating to but not limited to fair housing, OSHA, pool and safety standards set by Madison Apartment Group.
- Participate in on-call emergency rotations on the weekends and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Other tasks or duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
Qualifications:
- Well organized, detail oriented and efficient
- Team oriented with ability to work independently on occasion
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Ability to work an on-call rotation that may require night and weekend flexibility
- Valid Driver’s License/ High school diploma
· HVAC certification preferred; painting/cleaning/turnover experience helpful.
