Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security camera Technician to join our operations in the Houston, TX area. Rate of pay is dependent on experience. This person will be responsible for performing the most skilled security technician work in the installation, service, and programming of all security camera related systems. This is a hands-on role. The Technician will prepare and oversee jobs in the geographic area, but also work alongside project installation teams and program and service camera systems. This individual must have an expert background in installing and servicing CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems and at least seven (3) years of experience working in the commercial security camera systems field.
Main Responsibilities:
· Must be self-motivated.
- Leadership: Oversee the entire lifecycle of security camera systems projects fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Service: Responsible for the professional service of CCTV, and motion/intrusion/alarm systems.
- Programming: Ensures project systems are programmed to the highest standard and organized to work well for the client. Often includes customized programming to meet specific Customer needs.
- Quality Control: Ensure that highest standard of installation is upheld. Helping customers retrieve requested video footage from units in a reasonable time frame
- Communication: Respectfully communicates with all local Partner and internal staff on a daily progress and all necessary information on any service call or project.
- Documentation: Completes project close out documentation, including head end and installation quality pictures. Documents installation quality and completes all required close out documents.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.
- Must be able to differentiate colors.
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.
- Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.
