Requirements

Lead a team of two to four project managers and one assistant project manager

Work with internal business development and preconstruction teams to understand the scope, specifications, and schedule of large commercial, multi-family, institutional, and industrial projects

Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance the company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency

Solve construction problems as they arise

Keep in-house project management systems updated and on track with critical dates

Manage submittal drawing process with contractors, architects, and engineers

Coordinate phasing of projects to match the general contractor’s schedule

Coordinate with superintendents to ensure field measurements are implemented in final production drawings

Work closely with superintendents to ensure customer/contract requirements and timelines are met

Keep projects on track within company lead time guidelines

Review, create, and manage the execution of change orders

Communicate with customers and the internal accounting team to ensure projects are billed on time and accurately
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (plan sets, isometrics)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors

Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and organize significant amounts of information efficiently

Five-plus years of construction/manufacturing experience
