Overview
As a Solar Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Outside Sales Representatives, canvassing neighborhoods, approaching residential property owners, conveying utility overpayment reduction, driving sales growth, and expanding our market presence in the region.
Essential Functions
- Manage a team of closers.
- Conducting negotiations with clients, and concluding new contracts.
- Manage and monitor sales performance, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.

- Proficient in Google Suite and CRM tools or related software.
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Coachable and self-motivated.
- Capable of working well under pressure and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- Able to perform with minimal supervision
- Resourceful; able to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize.
- Bilingual is a plus.
Qualifications
- 2 years plus sales manager experience or similar role in the solar energy industry.
- Flexible work schedule
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Talking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Physically able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
