As a Sr. Analyst, Lean Operations you will play a pivotal role in implementing cost-effective solutions and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Management, Inventory, and other departments to advance lean directives and foster a culture of Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement (CIP). You'll work hands-on with our Product Distribution Centers (PDCs) to develop and execute improvement plans based on statistical models, track project progress, and report results to management. Additionally, you will support PDC projects through part management, dashboards, and KPI tracking, ensuring all Lean department initiatives are effectively executed. Key Responsibilities
Corporate / PDC operations coordination
- Reporting, communications, instructions for all Lean data collection for Part Management, Continuous Improvement initiatives , and PDC Move/ Start up Projects
- Documentation / update SOP changes as required upon process changes to Lean, 5S or other Lean department assignments
- Analyze Lean work flow / data to PDC and Fountain Valley
- Work as the liaison for Lean changes of PDA/AMOS for process changes operationally as well as systematic between the Systems Dept and PDCs.
- Review and analyze PDC improvement initiatives and utilize statistical reporting methods to report trends / progress. 30%
Documents and records
- Update Monthly results for all PDC trackers for all locations
- Update KPI’s, action plans, and results
- Track and update PDC electronic Equipment tracking programs
- Provide/ Manage update requirements such as Projects, startups/moves, and maintenance programs for processes or Part Management with all Facilities 30%
- Support/Assist leadership and coordinators requests & questions
- Assist creating DATA for HQ / PDC for Part Management, WOS, and Equipment data.
- Maintain PDC Lean data base and utilization and recommend replacement, updates and upgrades through ROI costing models. 25%
Basic Filing/Electronic Filing
- Filing vendor Contracts, Equipment tracking data, KPI data, Part Management data, Part dimensions, etc. 15%
Work Schedule & Travel Requirements
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required.
Experience Requirements
- 5-7 of experience with Lean processes.
Certifications
- Lean certification is preferred.
Skills
- Proficient computer skills: e-mail, record keeping, routine database, word processing, spreadsheets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
