The Visual Zone Manager leads and oversees the implementation of visual merchandising standards for the Travel Essential stores. Successful outcomes include execution of company and brand standards, growing sales, and increasing engagement of our customers. Works in collaboration with several individuals and groups including Regional Director, platform General Managers, PLSC visual and merchandising teams, store operations team and others as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate and execute overall visual merchandising strategy for retail platforms, new store openings and other projects
- Ensure adherence to Visual Merchandising standards across regional market
- Identify and tracks key KPIs related to visual merchandising strategies
- Assists in review and revision of existing documents related to visual merchandising such as plan-o-grams
- Responsible for execution and feedback of testing strategy for new assortments
- Mentors the team through training visual expectations, operational standards, and materials/tool management
- Attends and presents during regional meetings to share inspiration, new ideas, and pertinent information from with store teams
- Monitors all store displays for compliance with current guidelines, including lighting and signage, and modifies displays when necessary
- Trains associates and new Department Managers in visual merchandising techniques and guidelines; answers associates' display questions, offers suggestions
- Manage specific visual tasks related to store openings & other projects
- Travel to support store openings & visual projects as required
- Other duties as assigned

- Retail experience and a high level of creativity required
