United Way of Hall County unites people, organizations and resources to improve lives in our community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the mission of United Way of Hall County, the flow of the Compass Center, and existing resources within Hall County. Candidate must be a strong communicator, organized, and prompt. The candidate must be able to receive direction and work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve as a professional representative of United Way of Hall County, complying with established guidelines and in support of the organization’s mission and vision.
- Receive and field office phone calls
- Maintain Compass Center call log, walk-in forms, and sign-in sheet
- Greet each person who enters the building
- Attend to each Compass Center walk-in client
- Check-in with Compass Center staff daily to discuss call log and walk-in forms
- Weekly Compass Center Staffing meeting
- Attend scheduled staff meetings and training events.
- Data entry into client relationship management database
- Perform additional functions or assume additional responsibilities as needed or as requested by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED- associates degree preferred
- The ideal candidate understands the value of relationships in the business environment, has rapport with a wide range of people at varying levels in the organization, maintains composure in potentially stressful or difficult situations, and possesses a desire for professional development.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have personal transportation for use during workday.
- Must be available for events outside regular working hours.
Specific Job Skills Include:
Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, are necessary. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. Problem sensitivity skills and cultural diversity skills are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Fluency in verbal and written English is required; fluency in Spanish is highly desirable. Ability to write reports and business correspondence is necessary. Attention to detail is required.
- Computer and Analytic Skills
Requires advanced knowledge of MS office software and database programs. Must be able to apply modern office methods and practices including filing, proofreading, Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills are required.
Position requires a flexible schedule in order to attend events that may occur in the early mornings, evenings and/or weekends. Candidate will be asked to use personal car for business and must possess valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
