THE POSITION
We are looking for a full-time Machinist / Fabricator, with solid mechanical aptitude. This is a long-term, growth position –candidate is expected to learn important aspects of our Fabrication and area. In this roll, your mechanical aptitude must demonstrate the ability to machine, assemble and fabricate components and assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Follow work instructions
· Performing secondary operators (drill press, small assemblies using hand tools, operate machines)
· Sort and Inspect product 100%
· Final trimming and/or clean-up of each part as required
· Counting, labeling and packaging
· Ensure the successful execution of the daily quality, documentation and production control activities
· Monitoring work-center/machine performance, calling on assistance as required
· Maintain a clean work area
· Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Basic math skills
· CNC setup and operation experience preferred
· Experience using hand tools with an ability to demonstrate a solid basic mechanical aptitude
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
· Must be team focused, selfless, and motivated to build relationships with other team members
· Must be highly dependable and reliable
· Must possess a good attitude, ability to work at a fast pace and change direction when required
· Manual lathe, mill experience a plus
· This position would perform preventative maintenance, inserts changes and light repair on injection molds
· Requiring disassembly and reassembly of molds as instructed by the Tool room Lead
· Ability to lift 30-40 pounds (infrequently)
· Standing and walking required
