We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Software Tester and Project Coordinator. This hybrid role is essential for ensuring the quality of our software products and supporting the smooth execution of our projects.
Job Summary:
The Software Tester and Project Coordinator will be responsible for testing our software to identify bugs and defects and assisting with the management of various projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong organizational abilities.
Software Testing:
- Perform thorough testing of software applications to identify and document bugs, defects, and issues.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Report and track defects using bug tracking tools (JIRA) or other company tools.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure issues are resolved.
- Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and improvements.
- Ensure the software meets quality standards before release.
Project Coordination:
- Assist senior management in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure project tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain project documentation and update project status reports.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Help manage project timelines and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing and project coordination.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
