Job Title: Ergonomic Specialist
Educational Requirement: Bachelor of Science (minimum), Masters of Science (preferred)
Fields of Interest: Engineering: Biomechanical, Human Factors, Industrial, Mechanical; Health Sciences: Physical/Occupational Therapy, Athletic Trainer (other related degrees considered)
Desired Core Competencies: ergonomics and/or human factors engineering, strong communication skills (technical writing & presentation delivery), problem solving, mechanical aptitude, and project management.
Experience Requirement: 2+ years working in an industrial setting (preferred); graduate studies in lieu of work experience considered.
Job Duties:
The primary duties of the job will be to perform ergonomic job analyses for our clients using our proprietary ErgoFactor® software. This includes:
· Managing projects by creating quality analyses within a prescribed timeframe.
· Problem solving to define and describe meaningful solutions to resolve ergonomic risks.
· Educating clients in the basics of ergonomics and providing training for clients in ErgoFactor® tools.
· Generating reports and offering presentations to client managers on project results.
· Continued relationship building while acting as an account lead.
Additional secondary duties are apt to include:
· Researching new ergonomic topics and tools.
· Functional testing of company software.
· Assisting with account management.
Travel: As this is a consulting role, travel is required and represents approximately 30% of the working schedule. The majority of this travel is apt to occur in the continental United States but can infrequently require international travel.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time, salaried position requiring a minimum of 40-hours of documented work time per week.
Compensation: Commensurate on education, experience, credentials, and ability to meet competencies.
Work Location: ErgoFactor is located Appleton, Wisconsin. Though we work internationally, our core clientele is located in the continental US. Employees work out of their home office when not traveling, but should be located near an internatio
