Responsibilities and Expectations:
As the Interior Designer, you will design unique creative spaces that meet the client’s needs and wants while still meeting the projects investment range parameters, and producing accurate construction drawings that match the specifications and provides workable drawings for production personnel.
- Conduct Site Inspections, which is a record of the existing conditions, and gather information that provides the design team with the needed dimensions, photos and information.
- Meet with clients to determine design desires and to present design concepts and detailed designs.
- Produce “as built” drawings of existing conditions.
- Create conceptual designs. Create perspective renderings (Hand drawings or utilize computer software) as a tool to assist in the sale and communication of designs with clients and the production team.
- Assist in the development of project estimates and detailed budgets for projects.
- Communicate with supplier personnel and other designers to develop and maintain a good working relationship that will harbor and cultivate future prospects.
- Maintain a current understanding and knowledge of design principles in kitchen and bathroom planning, roof planning, addition tie in points, recommended clearances and distances, appliance configurations, etc.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in the use of computers, Microsoft Office, and interior design software. Chief Architect a plus.
- High level of organization with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to life up to 25 pounds
- Valid Driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.25 - $36.05 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
- Chief Architect: 1 year (Preferred)
- Interior Design: 5 years (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Westlake, OH: Relocate before starting work (Required)
