We seek a dynamic Upper Elementary Teacher for a combined age classroom, grades 4-6. Candidates should be familiar with the developmental needs of 9-12 year olds as well as current theories and practices that support an excellent elementary program. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of the school experience in literacy, math, science, and social studies. We are especially interested in taking advantage of the city as our classroom. The teacher is responsible for supervising the classroom environment, developing and delivering curriculum, establishing classroom routines, family communications, record keeping, and developing strong partnerships with colleagues and families. QUALIFICATIONS:● BA/BS required; MA preferred
● 5 years teaching experience or equivalent required
● 9-12 or 6-9 Montessori certification a plus
● MA elementary education license a plus
