We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team in New York, NY. This hybrid role requires a dedicated professional with strong expertise in Cisco Meraki and Okta, who can manage and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will also have experience migrating from Active Directory and from Office 365 to Google Workspace. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Provide advanced support for hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Utilize Cisco Meraki to manage and monitor network devices, ensuring network stability and security.
- Administer and manage Okta for identity and access management, ensuring secure and efficient user authentication.
- Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- Administer Office 365, ensuring smooth operation and integration with other systems.
- Utilize a ticketing system to track, manage, and resolve support requests efficiently.
- Participate in IT projects, including planning, implementation, and support.
- Lead the migration from Active Directory to alternative directory services.
- Oversee the migration from Office 365 to Google Workspace, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including laptop deployment and orientation on company policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve system performance and user experience.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on network and identity management.
- Strong experience with Cisco Meraki and Okta.
- Proficiency with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Office 365 administration.
- Experience with Slack.
- Solid understanding of both Mac and Windows operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of network concepts and troubleshooting.
- Experience with migrations from Active Directory.
- Experience with migrations from Office 365 to Google Workspace.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen interest in how things work and a desire to learn.

- You possess a solid understanding of both Windows and Mac operating systems.
- You have a strong grasp of network concepts and are comfortable troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
- You have extensive experience with Cisco Meraki and Okta.
- You are proficient in using and administering MDM and Office 365.
- Experience with Slack is highly desirable.
- You have led successful migrations from Active Directory.
- You have experience with migrations from Office 365 to Google Workspace.
- You excel at providing exceptional customer service with a smile.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
