Superior Fence & Rail is an industry leader with multiple branch locations across Florida. We partner with a national home improvement chain, multiple home builders and general contractors for fence installation requirements.
Learn and adopt Superior Fence & Rail’s structured processes and complete required training. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of Installers; overall on-site supervision at worksites; fair and appropriate supervisory practices of employees.
Duties:
- Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas.
- Provide overall supervision of Lead Fence Installers in all aspects of their duties
- Ensures Leads properly supervise their crews moving supplies, transporting supplies and equipment, and raising fencing structures; assures they are supplied with proper tools and materials and using them appropriately and effectively.
- Conduct weekly install meetings to review and share pertinent information
- Through general instruction, assigns and supervises the work of Leads and at times crews engaged in a variety of tasks associated with fence installation such as assembling and installing equipment and machinery, gathering materials and building fences.
- Oversees Leads and crew as they determine appropriate locations for operations and/or installations.
- Ensures instructions, drawings, and/or specifications are interpreted and followed correctly.
- Properly instructs and supervises the Leads regarding safety and appropriate operation of equipment and supplies
- Work with customers on any potential issues or problems that may occur and remedy
- Maintain a customer service rating of 96% or better
- Maintain professionalism of Leads and crew and respond immediately to employee issues and customer needs. Report all incidents to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
- Interact with customers and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:
- Previous supervisory experience
- Highly skilled in verbal and written communications
- Construction experience preferred
- Basic experience with computer operations and appropriate software
- Ability to read plans and give and follow instructions
- Ability to problem solve as they arise
- Ability to interpret, obey and supervise others regarding applicable safety regulations
- Highly detail oriented with organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates, supervisors, and customers
- Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude
- English and Spanish are required
