WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to navigate a desktop computer and multi-line phone
-
Knowledge of healthcare payers and MI collection laws preferred
-
Knowledge of insurance eligibility preferred
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
-
Answer customer calls and assist with questions about their statements
-
Data entry (updating customer information, documenting customer inquiries)
-
Follow up on accounts where payment has not been received
-
Obtain written orders from physician and verify insurance
