Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This role serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues.
The Role
As the HR Business Partner, you will be reporting to the Director of Engagement, and providing support to the HR Team, Employees, and Leadership. Your responsibilities are to drive HR initiatives and foster a positive working environment, while also aligning HR strategies and business objectives to create ongoing organizational success and growth.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with the HR team to lead key HR objectives and programs, including performance management, career pathing, training and development, employee relations, compliance, and additional efforts related to the employee experience.
- Support our people, leaders, culture, and organizational effectiveness as a business partner.
- Developing, maintaining, and demonstrating a working business knowledge and providing creative solutions to align with departmental priorities will be crucial to your success.
- Partner with managers and employees to address and resolve employee relations issues and concerns, including taking corrective action and conducting internal investigations.
- Execute day-to-day performance management guidance and coaching to leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Process changes in various systems of payroll providers and our internal administration system.
- First point of contact for employees with HR-related questions
- Partner with the global People Strategy Team to promote employee engagement and assist with all employee relations
- Support the full employment lifecycle, including our colleagues' on- and off-boarding process, and establish an orientation program for new employees with the assistance of Zone's HR manager.
- Work closely with managers and leaders to provide HR guidance and support.
- Coordinate and schedule background and pre-employment screenings.
- Maintain electronic employee files.
- Assist with coordination, planning, and logistics of employee events, meetings, meals, etc.
- Work closely with the global People Strategy team and actively participate and contribute to local and international HR projects and initiatives.
- Prepare various HR documents: employment agreements, changes to employment terms, employer's statements, etc.
- To support the fast growth of the company, propose and implement solutions for optimizing operational HR processes
- Manage the Highly Skilled Migrant visa applications and visa changes and support relocation.
- Manage the annual performance review process internationally
What You Need to Succeed:
· Experience working as an HRBP in a fully remote environment at a high-growth company.
· Expertise in people/HR policies & procedures with a track record of prioritizing, defining, developing, and rolling out scalable HR solutions that address the needs of the business specifically for Go to Market Teams.
· Proven ability to influence mid-level, senior management, and C-level executives.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong ability to follow up in a timely manner.
· A self-driven, motivated, and analytical mindset with the ability to proactively identify opportunities that contribute to the team’s success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of employment labor law and HR best practices
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with Paylocity, Taleo, or Oracle is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in legal risk assessment, as well as the application of employment law in most HR business situations
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Must know employment laws and regulations.
