Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment, and ensuring the overall well-being and development of our students. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth - Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special needs or behavioral challenges - Utilize Montessori teaching methods to foster independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills - Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral health specialists, and other professionals to support student development - Assess student progress through ongoing observation, assessments, and evaluations - Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns - Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times - Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement Skills: - Strong knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum development - Experience working with students in a Montessori or similar educational setting - Familiarity with speech therapy techniques and strategies - Understanding of behavioral health principles and interventions - Proficiency in math concepts relevant to the assigned grade level(s) - Ability to provide care for toddlers in a nurturing and developmentally appropriate manner - Knowledge of special education practices and accommodations for students with diverse needs - Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disabilities - Excellent classroom management skills to create an organized and productive learning environment We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
