Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team and play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent for our trucking company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the trucking industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in recruiting drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Driver Sourcing and Recruitment: Utilize various recruitment methods to source and attract qualified truck drivers, including online job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
- Candidate Screening and Selection: Review applications, conduct initial screenings, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and suitability for available positions.
- Driver Onboarding: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new drivers, including completing necessary paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements, including driver qualifications, licensing, and medical certifications.
- Maintain Recruitment Metrics: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and safety, to align recruitment efforts with company goals and objectives.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent the company at industry events, job fairs, and conferences to promote our brand and attract potential candidates.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the trucking or transportation industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of trucking regulations, driver qualifications, and industry trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with drivers, management, and external stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with colleagues.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruitment software.
- Driver Focus: Genuine interest in supporting drivers and promoting a positive driver experience within the company.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
