Company Description:
We just launched our new product which is a portable propane fire pit. The first niche we are going after is boating; what's cooler than a fire pit on your boat!? As we grow we plan to expand into other niches like camping, tailgating, back yards, etc.
Role Description:
This is a commission based, remote role for an Outside Sales Rep. As the Michigan territory Sales Rep you'll be responsible for growing our B2B business which will be selling directly to boat dealerships. From our research there are about 350 boat dealers in Michigan.
Role Duties:
- Sourcing leads
- Cold calling to build awareness/interest
- Travel to boat dealers to demo the product (seeing is believing)
- Working with our team to create invoice/collect payment
- Continued business development for repeat sales
Compensation:
We try and keep the compensation plan easy. For each unit sold to a Dealer you will be paid $75/unit. Currently this is paid out monthly and calculated by our accounting team. For sake of transparency, you'll have access to sales records to cross reference your sales.

- Relationship Building and Customer Service skills
- New Business Development
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in the sales industry is preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $125,000.00 per year
