We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to be responsible for providing outstanding customer account management, developing and expanding opportunities with existing customers, and generating new business to achieve company goals.
The ideal candidate will have B2B sales experience with inventory-based products and will be located in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for executing sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales and performance targets and metrics.
· Proactive in your approach to winning new business, both within existing and new customer accounts.
· Manage customer accounts and build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with all customers.
· Proactively monitor customer engagement, sales and inventory trends through regular client interactions and provide ongoing feedback to sales and other key internal stakeholders.
· Collaborate with others in Sales, Customer Service and Marketing to ensure the customer is served appropriately and timely to continue driving revenue growth.
· Proactively work to gain insight and understanding of the customers’ needs in order to manage expectations and deliver the best solutions to meet their needs.
· Execute effective strategies to grow business with existing accounts.
· Travel as required (includes overnight travel via land & air) and possess a valid driver’s license.
The ideal candidate will have:
· 3 + years’ account management experience selling inventory-based products (experience selling fine arts products a plus).
· A proven track record of increasing sales.
· Strong communication skills, particularly around customer outreach, uncovering needs, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, having the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
· Strong time management and planning skills.
· Ability to travel nationally approximately 50% of the time.
· Interest or experiences in fine arts including photography and digital imaging.
