Bridge Superintendent
The Bridge Superintendent oversees day-to-day operations and safety of their assigned projects.
Job Duties
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Works with Project Manager to plan and execute construction projects and ensure their successful completion.
· Coordinates project objectives and plans with Foreman and subcontractors.
· Attends pre-construction meetings to monitor the project status to ensure project stays on schedule.
· Manages and directs foreman and crew on day-to-day job responsibilities assuring everyone knows what their job duties are for the day.
· Holds all employees at the jobsite accountable for complying with company policies and procedures demonstrating safe work place practices.
· Communicates with Project Manager, General Superintendent, and Upper management on project status including making them aware of any issues on the project.
· Maintains inventory control over all tools and equipment on the jobsite making sure they are all stored properly to prevent theft and damage and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
· Communicates with shop on any maintenance or repairs needed for equipment or tools.
· Monitors project work expenditures compared to projected costs for materials and supplies and is responsible for making sure all purchase order tickets and/ or invoices are turned into the office in a timely manner.
· Communicates with purchaser any supplies needed for jobsite.
Requirements
· 5+ years of bridge construction
· 2+ years of superintendent
· 8+ years of construction experience

Pay: From $57,142.44 per year
