(Dallas-based National Account Executive)
The mechanical industry is fast-paced and detail-oriented, requiring a strong team of sales professionals to efficiently manage projects for our customers. We are seeking an account executive with exceptional interpersonal skills and industry knowledge to build and create lasting relationships with our customers. Qualifications:
- Possess a strong understanding of sales processes and hunting new logos
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible to accommodate changes
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience developing compelling customer-facing proposals
- Ability to handle and manage a variety of tasks and be comfortable multitasking
- Possess strong computer skills that include but are not limited to MS Office Suite with the ability to learn new software and apps
- Ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with new and existing customers, providing unmatched customer service
- Establish and execute personal, team, and sales goals
Job Functions:
- Seek out new sales opportunities through rigorous customer outreach cold calling, networking, and marketing to new customers and partners
- Cultivate strong customer relationships; resolving issues and concerns promptly
- Estimate and propose next-generation mechanical projects
- Collaborate with field employees, project manager peers, customers, and engineers to determine customer needs and project scope
- Gather pricing on labor, parts, equipment, and subcontractors as the project requires
- Submit clear and concise estimates to customers detailing pricing, rebates, and scope
- Order parts and materials, communicate schedules and scope to subcontractors, schedule manpower, communicate scheduling and completion timelines to customers
- Communicate project scope, labor, and timelines to the field team
- Monitor labor, material, and subcontractor costs to ensure profit margin goals are achieved
- Provide change orders to customers when the scope is adjusted
- Collaborate with accounts receivable to ensure timely billing and payment on projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors on pricing, ordering, project scheduling, and customer concerns.
Certificates/Licenses/Education:
- College degree preferred and/or 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the Mechanical/HVAC (or related) industries.
Base salary
Starting at $70,000/yr.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
