Help adolescents recover from mental health and substance use challenges at an 18-bed residential treatment center for 14- to 17-year-old girls on a beautiful property in Killingworth, Connecticut. The Killingworth, CT team includes direct support professionals, psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, wellness coordinators, academic advisors, operations staff, kitchen staff, and more.
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide support to all hourly staff joining our team.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Pay
50,000 salary
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with Human Resources and Onboarding Coordinator to assess candidates and manage job postings
- Schedule interviews
- Complete all onboarding paperwork and background checks with new hires
- Supply uniforms, badges, and email setup
- Manage payroll and scheduling on UKG
SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
- Experience with human resources, recruiting, payroll management and scheduling
- Experience working in the field of mental health, addiction treatment preferred
- Ability to work with people of various ethnic, cultural, and educational backgrounds
