PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Coordinate. streamline and maintain district instructional materials database management system. Aid in the day-to-day support of the district’s instructional materials division.

Education/Certification
High school diploma or GED.
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to think strategically and analyze issues.
- Advanced computer knowledge and understanding of warehouse computer systems, spreadsheets, and electronic forms.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create training materials and videos.
- Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data.
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate with Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) content directors to determine materials for ordering, submitting requisitions using general funds, submit requests for reimbursement to TEA, utilizing EMAT database for disbursement. Enter orders directly through EMAT database when applicable.
- Act as liaison between the district and TEA as it applies to IMA funds and IMA orders.
- Organize and maintain district’s instructional materials database management system.
Assist with annual inventory audit.
Prepare training material and videos for training.
Work closely with C&I content directors.
Coordinate instructional materials pickup from the IM warehouse.
Coordinate the disposal of out-of-adoption textbooks with curriculum and instruction department heads.
Occasionally operate pallet jack.
Adhere to OSHA safety rules and regulations as it pertains to Warehouse safety standards.
Create procedural manuals and how-to instructions to streamline processes.
Scan and verify documents according to procedures and as directed.
Maintain a professional level of confidentiality concerning personnel and students. Follow all goals and objectives per district policies.
Participate in professional development activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Work within frequent solitude with limited supervision. Occasional irregular hours. Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and kneeling, pushing or pulling. Prolonged use of a computer. Occasional onsite warehouse work with exposure to hot or cold temperatures, chemical hazards (dust); work on uneven or slippery surfaces, work on ladders and exposure to noise. Occasional onsite lifting and carrying of 15-50 pounds. Repetitive motions, use of eye/hand coordination, speaking and listening, ability to see clearly, to judge distance and space.
