Salary: Starting @ $95,000- $100,000/year

Purpose of Position:
Responsible for the successful site management of assigned location. The full responsibilities will include developing cost, timeline, schedule proposals on received RFP/RFQ from port customers, day-to-day Management of Project activities onsite including but not limited to day-to-day office management, project schedule, ordering ILA labor, interacting with port managers, solving scheduling problems, cost control, daily and weekly reporting as necessary.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Clear communication to customers and management of current project status and progress
- Coordination of schedules of workforce and customer requirements
- Prepare estimates and proposals for service needs to satisfy customer requirements
- Understand project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team
- Deliver project tasks and assure that projects are progressing as planned
- Responsible for basic project design and delivery according to the service contract
- Complete administrative tasks to include, invoice submission, company truck documentation, maintaining job files
- Submit time sheets, vacation requests and order labor for overtime as needed
- Local travel between ports
What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
- University (Bachelor's degree) level or vocational qualification / relevant working experience
Experience:
- 5+ years hands on experience with service, repair and maintenance of terminal cranes and container handling equipment
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination/project management
- Driver’s License and have or ability to obtain a TWIC card
Competencies:
- In depth knowledge of container terminal operations and container handling equipment
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment, evaluate situations and make solid business decisions
- Reading and fully interpreting blueprints and schematics including but not limited to: structural, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic
- ·A working knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, rigging and lift plans
- Safety focused
- Working knowledge of Google Suite
