Japanese inspection company located in Oregon is looking for a customer service representative.
▼RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
1. Monitors testing, validation status and report due date on LIMS, and organizes the reporting process from completed laboratory result(s) through client deliverable(s).
2. Generates and issues analytical reports and certificates to clients following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Crystal Reports reporting software - verifies generated report information against clients’ sample submission forms, maximum residue limits, and other information for accuracy and consistency.
3. Works with Accounting on client invoices.
4. Provides customer service to current and prospective clients - answers general inquiries about the Company’s services and responds to questions about reports while maintaining confidentiality policies. Escalates and consults with Supervisor and/or Laboratory Manager for responses as needed.
5. Maintains client files and detailed records of communications via hard copy and/or electronic network locations. Updates and maintains the sample log.
6. Reports Crystal report formatting issues and LIMS data tracking issues to Supervisor and/or Laboratory Manager.
7. Contributes to the continuous improvement of Customer Service processes by proposing and implementing changes for improving customer service quality, increasing customer service performance, reducing cost, or shortening responding time.
8. Obtains and retains an up-to-date knowledge of testing services. Participates in internal and external training. Participates in external professional and technical meetings.
9. Supports other customer service roles including sample receiving and client quote as needed.
10. Other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Laboratory Manager.

EDUCATION
Highschool diploma and six months to one year office or laboratory related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
