Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Summary: Performs all duties related to the inspection of products by performing the following duties at an Electronics Assemblies Manufacturing
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the in-process and final inspection of printed circuit boards, wire harness, cable assemblies and full mechanical/electrical box assemblies according to the quality, performance, and acceptance criteria defined by IPC-6012 and IPC-A-600 standards, and, according to fabrication prints and documents.
- Document inspection and test results in reports such as First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment to detect manufacturing defects.
- Utilize test & measurement equipment to produce and analyze reports such as Micro-section and TDR (controlled impedance).
- Ensure the product and company meets quality standards outline in our ISO 9001 program, and act as an internal ISO auditor as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2-year related experience and/or training
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively use a PC with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
