Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs, including those with autism
- Assist with behavior management and promote positive social interactions among students
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Help students develop literacy and math skills through engaging activities
- Foster a love for learning by creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
- Assist with daily routines, such as mealtime, naptime, and outdoor play
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or childcare setting
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with literacy education and math concepts for young children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
- A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young lives
