Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Identifies opportunities to enhance interoperability between various systems and platforms outside the organization, promoting seamless data exchange and accessibility.

Establishes and enforces data standards and best practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data across the organization.

Critical thinking skills to analyze regulatory requirements, state, and federal laws, including Joint Commission, the 21st Century Cures Act and HIPAA.
- Conducts thorough analysis of data sets to extract meaningful insights, identifies trends and supports decision-making processes.

Generates reports, dashboards, and other data-driven content to communicate insights and facilitate informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Translates, explains, and illustrates complex technical information across the health system, including executive, administrative, clinical, and business stakeholders, facilitating understanding and alignment.

Works closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements, and to facilitate collaborative solutions in support of healthcare delivery.

Directs and supports the development, improvement and documentation of operational process related to data and interoperability, ensuring clarity and consistency.

Conducts regular audits and quality checks to validate data integrity, identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures as needed, ensuring high data quality standards.

Identifies and effectively advocates for process improvements and needed new processes.

Collaborates with teams to optimize systems and applications, primarily focusing on Epic and additional core clinical and business solutions for efficient data management and interoperability.

Participate in special projects including facilitation of annual Hospital surveys such as Leapfrog and AHA.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Criteria
-
Familiarity with Health IT regulatory requirements

Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools

Familiarity with data standards and interfaces

Master's degree
Required Criteria

Bachelor's degree
-
Epic Certified
- Experience with SQL
-
Three (3) years of technical support within a healthcare ecosystem, including multiple data sources, data collection systems, processes and workflows

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Excellent Organizational and Analytical Skills
-
Ability to conceptualize, plan, and implement projects as well as interact effectively with applications in complex problem situations.

Salary Range:
$85,500-$139,000/Annual
