Job Brief
NYTPS Inc. is looking for a part time BCBA/LBA for Direct Support Services located in Brooklyn, NY. The zip code is 11207. The case is 8 hours per week for a 9 year old girl. The family is available on Monday to Friday from 6-8pm.
Duties Include:
- Provide direct care behavioral services to student.
- Create and implement intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Submit progress reports and summaries.
- Expertise with Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT); Natural Environment Teaching (NET); Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA); and the ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP Assessments.
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the job including sitting on the floor with student, getting up from the floor, bending and kneeling, running with children, etc.
- Create data measurement system and continuously monitor progress on behavior reduction targets and skill acquisition goals.
Position requirements:
- Must be a New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (NY-LBA)
- Must be able to work in the NYC metro area choice in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan.
- Must be physically present at the assigned job location, including homes, schools, and community placements.
- Must be willing and able to travel between different job sites.
- Competent in behavior management, skill instruction, oral and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with children who are medically fragile.
