Circuit Design:
- Design and develop schematics and layouts for digital and RF analog circuits.
- Ensure circuit functionality and performance through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.
Lab Equipment Utilization:
- Use RF lab equipment, including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers, for precise testing and measurement.
RF System Components:
- Work with critical RF system components such as Local Oscillators, downconverters, upconverters, and demodulators.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of design, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, testing procedures, and user manuals.
Component Knowledge:
- Apply a basic understanding of RF components, such as feeds, high power amplifiers, RF over fiber, and demodulators.
- Use bench top equipment like power supplies, oscilloscopes, and serial analyzers.
Independent Project Management:
- Manage projects independently, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in circuit board schematic and layout design for digital and RF analog circuits.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of RF and digital circuit testing and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in using engineering processes and design tools.
- Familiarity with MS Office and popular design software.

This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR.
