We are seeking a Quality Support Technician to support the technical Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) in the assigned Navico Group product families in our Stuart, FL location. This includes:
- Evaluate returned electrical product such as Trimplane actuators, switches and controllers
- Document all evaluations and report out on corrective action and trending quality issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members in the warranty, quality, engineering, production, and service departments when there is need for further containment and/or Corrective and Preventative Action
- Additional responsibility to production quality data collection and reporting as defined by quality engineering
- Responsibility to incoming inspection system data, collection, recording and reporting
- Communication of this information to production for root cause analysis and correction
- Working with Production to identify quality defects and trends
- Working with incoming receiving team to conduct and record incoming inspections.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Some secondary education/experience in a technical program or related field a plus.
- Certifications in circuit board, electrical and electronic device evaluation a plus
- Marine/RV Electrical experience a plus.
- 2 years in an manufacturing, warranty, or quality environment
Skill Requirements
- DC electrical experience preferred
- Warranty experience, preferred
- Ability to use of different electrical hand tools and meters. (Example: multi meters, calipers, Crimpers )
- 2-3 years doing assembly and or evaluations.
- Technical competence in assembly practices and standards.
- This individual must have excellent problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interface with a wide range of employees to meet departmental and company goals.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office and inventory monitoring software
- Circuit board and mechanical evaluation a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
