Care-A-Lot is growing! We are looking for an Assistant Teacher to join our growing family. This position is Monday-Friday. No nights or weekends, and we are closed on major holidays! Care-A-Lot is seeking a teacher who is professional, energetic, dependable and truly loves working with children.

The assistant teacher works under the direction of Lead Teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate early education programming for young children.
Essential Job Functions:
- The Assistant teacher helps teacher in preparing and implementing daily activities
- The Assistant teacher maintains cooperative relationships and clear, positive communication with staff, children, families, and support professionals
- The Assistant teacher provides personal care to children as needed
- The Assistant teacher ensures safety of children at all times and across all learning environments.
- The Assistant teacher maintains health and safety practices in accordance with state and local regulatory guidelines, and helps to keep a clean classroom, and works with the childcare team to maintain a clean environment for children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
