Program Coordinator/ Events Recruiting Coordinator
Our client, a highly acclaimed university in the Cambridge, MA area, is looking to bring on a Program Coordinator to join their Admissions team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working with everyone from leadership to students and is excited about getting involved with university events on campus and online. This is a direct hire permanent position with a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite/2 days remote) requiring occasional availability outside standard work hours for events.
Applicants must be able to work onsite in Cambridge 3 days per week and successfully pass a background check to be eligible for this position.
Compensation: $50,000-$55,000 salary (DOE)

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with program offices, faculty, students, alumni, and vendors to recruit and enroll candidates to the six programs managed by the Admissions team
- Coordinate Admissions recruitment events including managing logistics, coordinating staff, students, and alumni, facilitating, and collecting feedback
- Oversee all aspects of recruitment event and Campus Visit Program planning and logistics including registrant communications, meetings with staff, creating and tracking budgets, and collecting feedback
- Collaborate with Admissions Operations team on the planning and coordination of complex international and domestic travel and meetings for recruitment sessions and admissions interviews
- Sources and organizes outreach to alumni who participate in recruiting events; identify speakers, panelists, and reception attendees
- Review candidate applications for completeness and eligibility and evaluate the fit of prospective applicants
- Manage and maintain admissions CRM/application system (Slate)
- Review and update applicant communications in collaboration with Marketing Team
- Develop and generate reports and predictive models to track event-related analytics and inform future event planning in collaboration with Program Directors and Operations team
- Propose, develop, and implement efficiencies and improvements related to the recruitment, admissions and matriculation processes when necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in academic administration preferred
- Robust project management experience and skills including managing budgets, meeting deadlines, and collaborating on project teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to lead meetings and presentations
- Experience with data analytics and/or CRM systems similar to Slate preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred
- Keen attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Strong desire to contribute, problem-solve, and collaborate
- Must be able to navigate ambiguity and adapt to unexpected changes while maintaining composure and efficiency
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities according to urgency
