Due to the opening of our company's office in New York, we are looking for a reliable and organized courier to join our construction and renovation company team. The courier will be responsible for transporting documents, packages and other items between our office, work sites, clients and suppliers. This position requires a high level of responsibility, punctuality and the ability to navigate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick-Up and Delivery: Collect and deliver documents, packages, and materials to and from the office, construction sites, clients, and vendors.
- Documentation Handling: Ensure the secure and timely delivery of sensitive and important documents.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with office staff, construction site teams, and external contacts to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a courier or in a similar role is preferred.
- Reliability: Strong punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and materials as required.
- Navigation Skills: Proficiency in using GPS and other navigation tools.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
