Warehouse Associate
Titles: Picking Associate or Quality Control Associates
Hours: 2nd shift: M-F, 2:00pm to 11:00pm
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Picking Associate
- Fullfill customer orders and deliver to the dock using a Standup Reach Forklift or Cherry Picker following all safety practices.
- Pull orders using a "hand wand" verifying the correct product number and quantity and organize on the pallet for transporting safely.
Quality Control Associate
- Audit orders pulled by the Picking Team verifying part numbers, quantities/descriptions and making sure the product is on pallet correctly for safe transport.
- Ensure all corresponding labels are present including customer label, QC label, mixed carton label, etc.
- Stage audited order in the correct staging area for on-time delivery using a forklift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
- Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code. Basic math skills.
- Must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
- Certification of power-truck equipment and operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
- Experience that would be a good fit would be warehouse, distribution, picker, order puller, order selector, quality inspection, quality control, shipping, receiving
Physical Requirements:
- Move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical non-climate controlled warehouse environment
- Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing and may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection
- Good vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
