Job Summary: The Workday HCM Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security configurations within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role ensures the protection of sensitive employee data and compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Workday HCM security, a strong understanding of HR processes, and a strategic mindset for optimizing security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture & Design:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies for Workday HCM.
- Design and configure security roles, user access permissions, and data protection mechanisms within Workday.
- Ensure security configurations align with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
- Access Management:
- Manage user access provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access controls.
- Conduct regular security audits and reviews to ensure appropriate access levels.
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to address access-related issues and improvements.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal security policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for Workday HCM security configurations.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Security Monitoring & Incident Response:
- Monitor security logs and alerts for potential security breaches or anomalies.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
- Develop and execute security incident response plans specific to Workday HCM.
- Training & Support:
- Provide training and guidance to HR and IT staff on Workday HCM security best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert for security-related queries and support requests.
- Collaborate with Workday support and consulting partners to address security concerns.
