We are a non-profit child development agency that has provided superior early education programs since 1979. We operate 22 locations throughout San Diego County.
The Lead Teacher maintains a positive and professional attitude towards parents, staff, children, and the community while assisting the Director in implementing school goals and objectives.
Education/Training
The candidate must hold a Permit (Teacher Permit, Master Teacher Permit, or Site Supervisor Permit), have preschool teaching experience, be self-motivated, excellent in communication (verbal and written) be highly organized and be willing to be part of a TEAM. We are looking for individuals who have high standards and believe the care they provide is invaluable.
Experience
Desired Result Developmental Profile (DRDP) 2015
Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (ECERS)
Title 5 and Title 22
Certifications/Licenses
CPR, First Aid and Preventative Health Practices
Provide current transcripts during annual performance review
Annual proof of influenza vaccine, (or a statement declining)
Proof of pertussis and measles immunizations
Fingerprint and Criminal Record clearance required. FBI, DOJ and child abuse index.
Complete and pass CDSS Mandated Reporter Certification
Valid Driver’s License and proof of current insurance if driving on behalf of EES
