Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the fitness location's operations and staff, ensuring smooth functioning and top-tier service

Responsible for Sales Team and output to reach goals

Evaluate and bolster the performance of all gym staff, ensuring they meet the brand's high standards

Take the lead in hiring, training, and retaining top-quality staff

Responsible for recruiting and managing personal trainers and aerobics class instructors. NOTE: these positions may be independent 1099s.

Prioritize and ensure unparalleled customer service, both personally and through staff development

Implement and oversee company initiatives and objectives, guaranteeing they align with our growth goals

Provide sound & effective decision making in both customer service & employee issues

Safeguard a clean and risk-free environment for both customers and employees

Organize and champion special events to boost gym engagement

Drive membership engagement and retention

Ensure compliance throughout the gym

Will be required to perform other essential duties or have additional responsibilities as requested, directed, assigned, or seen fit and necessary to position.
Requirements:
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-
Comprehensive knowledge of managing fitness facilities, preferably with experience in scaling operations

Ability to master the facility management software
-
Demonstrated success in membership recruitment and sales

Ability to multi task and prioritize projects
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Familiarity with key performance indicators and their implications
-
Ability to understand P&L, revenue, budgets, inventory, payroll, labor management and facilities maintenance

Strong sales and customer service skills with proven results
Education and Experience:
-
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a fitness club manager; assistant manager experience will be considered

Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
Physical Demands:

Required to lift up to 100 lbs.

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
Work Environment:

Exposed to gym elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, human sweat, foot traffic, various Exercise equipment.

Job will generally be performed in a gym environment; however, travel may occur.
