The Role:
As an Instrumentation/SCADA Technician, you will be integral to installing and maintaining the IETLink remote monitoring systems. Your role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence across various sites, including landfills, stormwater pump stations, and sewage lift stations. This position demands a blend of independence, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills. You will identify and resolve issues, ensuring the integrity and performance of our systems.
Your Impact:
- Installation Excellence: Deploy IETLink Remote Monitoring systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Operational Vigilance: Monitor and maintain the performance of leachate collection and landfill gas collection systems across client sites, using IETLink to detect and address potential issues.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with management to report progress and troubleshoot complex challenges.
- Skills Mastery: Become adept at mechanical and electrical/control installations, troubleshooting, and repairs, contributing to our mission with minimal supervision.
We’re Looking For Someone With:
- An Electrical Certificate/Degree or equivalent hands-on training.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within sewer, water field services, landfill services, or similar sectors.
- Proficiency in electrical/control systems installations, including understanding landfill gas extraction, leachate piping, pumps, and SCADA management systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of working under various conditions with a focus on delivering results.
- Excellent communication skills, engaging effectively with clients and team members.
