The Head Teacher will be responsible in the day to day operations of the classroom including communication with the children’s families. The teacher will work collaboratively with an assistant teacher to ensure the successful functioning the classroom. The teacher will also work with a team of other teachers, family workers, consultants and administrators to implement the curriculum.
He/she will develop developmentally appropriate lesson plans as well as an individualized lesson plan for each child. The teacher will implement and ensure that teacher assistants implement lessons to meet children’s school readiness goals across all domains. He/she will document children’s progress, assess their development, conducts parent-teacher conferences. Teacher must have knowledge of Teaching Strategies Gold/Brigance. Conduct quarterly Teaching Strategies Gold assessments in the (Fall, Winter and Spring) monitor student progress. Teacher will conduct home visits twice a year. Keep children safe and maintain a clean and organized classroom.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour

- Early Childhood Education: 2 years (Required)
